The Heart Shaped Leaf

Based on Shira Geffen’s delicate, vivid and moving fantasy The Heart-Shaped Leaf, this new stage adaptation takes us on a magical tale about a little girl named Alona. As she rests under a tree to eat an apple, a golden leaf falls from the branches above. This leaf is different from all the others. It is heart-shaped, and it protects Alona from the pouring rain. But does this enchanted leaf belong to her? Will she keep her new treasure or help it find its way home?
Co-directed by Geffen herself alongside Director Zvi Sahar, and brought to life through the evocative design of David Polonsky, the performance invites audiences into a world where imagination, nature, and emotion intertwine.
